Crafty Radler FAQ's
Why is Crafty Radler so awesome?
Well, just like Colonel Sanders' secret blend of eleven herbs and spices and the secret formula to that special Big Mac Sauce, our recipe is a closely guarded secret. Our team and the Pump House Brewery agonized over getting the combination of flavors and mouth-feel just right. For the soda, we created the perfect blend of tart grapefruit on the front end and balanced it with just the right amount of tangerine to finish it off.
Once we had an amazing fruit soda, we had to make sure the base beer was an ideal pairing. With over 20 years of experience brewing award-winning beers, our brewers delivered in spades. With the well-rounded aromas of the Willamette hops, and brewing to the ABV level we were shooting for, they crafted a brew that perfectly blends with the refreshing fruit soda.
So with all of that, a little love and the support from our loyal fans everywhere, Crafty Radler was born and has since become one of the top rated radlers in the world!
What is the ABV of Crafty Radler?

Do you have tasting notes?
Crafty Radler includes a mix of house-made grapefruit and tangerine craft soda. It exhibits a natural cloudy, pale pink color and is as appealing to the taste buds as it is to the nose.
This mixture gives off a refreshing smell of ripe, freshly sliced grapefruit with sweet notes of fresh-picked tangerines.
There is also a slight lingering aroma of Willamette hops that create the base of this delicious blend. The grapefruit flavor dances with the sweetness of tangerines, while the malt and hops give a balanced foundation.

What is with the raccoon riding that weird bike?
The bike is called a penny-farthing and is also known as a ‘high wheel,’ ‘high wheeler’ and ‘ordinary’, was the first machine to actually be called a "bicycle". We thought it appropriate to show a bicyle on our can as Radler is literally the German word for cyclist.
The raccoon is probably the most "crafty" animal we could think of so we thought it fitting to use him to represent the brand. His outfit is a tribute to the great Franz Xaver Kugler, the inventor of Radler back in 1922.
